Raw Dog Food vs Kibble
I am now offering these different types of meals:

Chicken, organ and vege meal
Chicken and organ only
Beef and organ only.

If you are interested please drop me a line.
These meals are the same price as the beef and organ and vege meal, $1.30lb.
Well this is a HOT TOPIC, RAW vs KIBBLE. I am not an expert on Kibble or Raw but I will tell you my experience and then leave it up to you to decide.

I have always since I was a little girl always fed my dogs kibble but over the years and all the vet bills later I decided that I would look into another alternative to what is traditional used.

After my Boxer boy Lehto developed alleriges I had no choice but to turn to some sort of BARF DIET or as I call it RAW DIET. I tried many different RAW Diets and went to many different butchers, suppliers and people who make it at there homes.

I also read many books and went onto many chat sites to see what it was all about and what people were feeding there dogs. After about a year of trying all the different types or RAW Diets and seeing how my dogs reacted to it, I was able to derive a RAW DIET for my dogs and I have been very impressed with it for the last 18months.

I would personally recommend anyone wanting to try Raw to go ahead and do it, I know that the price difference between Kibble and Raw is getting closer together in PRICE and hopefully one day will not be a BIG deal.

My Raw Diet consists of Meat, Organ, Fish and Vegetables as well as Chicken backs and necks for the Bone content of the Raw Diet. I also give my dogs Soup bones uncooked once a week. This helps with there teeth and breathe problems with the chewing action and the marrow gives them some added vitamins and minerals.

I am always researching and finding new things to add to the RAW DIET and I am always interested in other peoples thoughts on the Raw and what else I could be adding.

Now in regards to KIBBLE I find that too many unnecessary things are put in and somethings are not even put on the ingredient list. I just can not see how something that is processed could be good for your dog or cat?
Again I am not an expert I just know from my dogs that Kibble is not good for them and since the Raw they have flourished and I pretty much do not take them to the Vet, only for their annual checkup.

So here is my menu for one week:

2 MEALS A DAY, 1 in the AM and 1 in the PM = 14 MEALS.

1 meal is Fasting - normally I do this Sunday night for 24 hours and I find that this cleans out there system.

1 meal is a Whole Fish- Salmon

4 meals are chicken backs and necks - 1 lb meal for each of my dogs

6 meals are my Raw Mix.

Basically I mix the ratio of the 14 meals to give them variety, but I notice my dogs are not fussy and will eat the same thing all the time. I do it for my sanity and to help them out.

I also give them some kelp and parsley in there meals a couple times a week. The only added vitamins i might give them is Vitamin C if they are not feeling good, especially if they are sick.

I find that my Raw Mix, Chicken backs and Necks and the occasional fish is pretty much all my dogs require and have been in excellent health ever since.

Some people ask if I give them Fruit and I tell them yes. If I have some over ripe Bananas in my house I give that to them as a treat only. Other then that I do not give them Fruit, I believe Fruit is not meant to be given to Dogs as they are carnivores not Herbivores but that does not mean that someone else can give there dog fruit as I said if that is what other people are doing and is working for them then great, but for me and my dogs they only get the occasional Banana.

If you wish to try the Raw Mix then give me a quick shout thru email and I will see what I can do for you. My supplier always has stock and he makes and prepares it at his Butcher shop. All meat is locally bought as well as the vegetables.

Please note this Raw Mix is NOT FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION in any shape or form.

My price per pound is $1.30 and I will deliver to the lower mainland for $1.40 per pound.

If you want to chat to me about the Raw Mix or on any subject related to dogs then please give me a shout I am always on the look out for new friends.
